Gear: The Miscellany

What devilry is this?

I think I bought this from an Instagram ad.  I don’t remember what they called it. It lets you capo only the strings you want, and you can dynamically flip it on or off certain strings.  Have I ever used it?  No.  Will I?  Doubtful.  Ah, but will my more talented guitar-playing friends use it?  Also no.

No, I do not think I’m Jimmy Page

A cello bow and rosin to play guitar with!  Have I used it?  Yes, perhaps only on Night Fire, but it may be time to break it out again :)

3D-printed Cthulhu death whistle!

Inexpensive!

Miscellaneous percussion.  I only got this stuff very recent after it came up in a session that I didn’t have any. This is some of the cheapest stuff out there, but does the job.  The two raw wood pieces were from a fallen branch I was cutting up that I noticed had good tone.

FEEL the EXCITEMENT!

Slides - do we use them? No. Do we need them? Not really, but I feel good having them. Kieran made some noise with them once or twice.

Oh my.

Yes, it’s a functional coffin. I made it from a kit after I lost my father and found out (a.) how expensive they are and (b.) how horrifying it is to have to pick out a coffin for your loved one. Problem solved. Until it’s needed it hangs around the space for ambiance.
